3.0 Diagramming Adjectival Phrases - Part I
Directions: Diagram the following sentences by placing the adjectival prepositional phrases under the noun or pronoun that they modify. (These allmodify the subjects.) The preposition goes on a slanted line under the noun that it modifies (in this case, the subject), and the object of the preposition goes on a horizontal line after it. (See the example.) Remember the adjective questions? Example: The blue birds in the trees were chirping.
