Students in the 2012 Astronomy EndSession are exploring not only the theoretical, but also the realistic probability of space exploration. We are designing, building, testing (and rebuilding) air & water propelled rockets; designing a lunar scientific and exploration mission from payload calculations to lunar base design; exploring and maipulating lens and optics; visiting the Etelman Observatory; welcoming lecturing astrophysicists; and further exploring student-led astronomy discussions.
